About Maria

Where I Can Contribute

Portrait of Maria Dolores in a black tailored skirt suit and pearls

My work has taken me into many different rooms.

I have worked with leaders and organisations through change and crisis, supported people through grief and important moments in life, cared for private homes, spoken from stages, taught and written.

Along the way, I have developed ideas about humanity — who we are as individuals, how we live together, and who we are becoming as a species.

At first glance, these may seem like very different kinds of work. To me, they are connected.

I care about people, places and what we create together. I believe in dignity, responsibility and leaving things better than I found them.

I have spent much of my life observing how people lead, communicate, use power, care for one another and respond when life becomes difficult. That curiosity continues to shape both my work and my thinking.

Today, I bring those experiences together through stewardship.

It's not as a title, but a way of working and living.
